Global Link Logistics (GLL) is licensed by the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) as an Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI) functioning as both a Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) and Freight Forwarder.
As an NVOCC, GLL offers a full array of ocean freight services including:
Full Container Load (FCL): GLL has entered into strategic relationships with a core group of the world's most reliable steamship companies. These relationships give GLL access to space allocations (even during peak season) with carriers that provide multiple sailings per week from Asia to the United States. Whether your procurement needs require the fastest transit schedules or your need is the lower cost/longer transit option, GLL can make the accommodation. Our professional sales and trade teams can design a program to meet your normal shipping schedules. We are flexible enough to offer an alternative service option based on transit needs for a particular purchase order.
Less than Container Load (LCL): For those instances when FCL is not the most cost effective service option, GLL offers LCL service between major ports in Asia and the US.
As a licensed Freight Forwarder, GLL offers services to customers who may desire to have their own contracts with steamship companies. In our capacity as a Freight Forwarder, GLL can function as an extension of your traffic department, interfacing with carriers on your behalf. Regardless of whether the service you choose is NVOCC or Freight Forwarder, GLL services include:
